GradQuiz- jobseeking with a twist!
Thursday, 17th October 2013
What is GradQuiz?
GradQuiz is a new online platform that launched in September 2013 aiming to revolutionise how graduates find and apply for gradjobs. But what makes us different from any other graduate recruiter?
By engaging current undergraduates and recent graduates in the form of an online quiz we:
• match the right candidate to the right employer
• raise graduates commercial awareness and industry knowledge
• create an online job portal specific to the graduates individual needs and suitability for employers
We don’t just advertise jobs, we match the graduate to the job.
How Do We Do This?
We Open Up Opportunities: Students can kick start their future by taking an online quiz that shows opportunities with companies that are actively interested in them. Instead of being at the receiving end of the recruitment process, GradQuiz flips this and puts the process in the hands of the student, putting them in the driving seat of their future career.
Tests Knowledge: GradQuiz puts students and graduates in the best possible position when it comes to the complicated process of filling out a job application. We simplify this process by using in-depth industry quizzes, building interview skills and even offering training ready for the corporate environment. All of this in a fun, social and interactive way.
Intelligence: GradQuiz rethinks psychometric testing, fast becoming the industry standard, by rewording the way it works. Our quizzes build up graduate job seekers’ commercial and business knowledge, not only making them more employable but making the entire job application process smarter. We also understand the way businesses work and operate in the corporate world and already have big name clients onboard such as Barclays, GlaxoSmithKline, Microsoft, NHS, Diageo, M&S and Linklaters, to name but a few.
GradQuiz has some awesome prizes up for offer and in the past have given away a tip for two to Ibiza. Fancy getting in on the act? We have a £1000 to give in our fortnightly draw, tours around the Houses of Parliament, a ‘Day with Diageo’, goodies from Procter & Gamble and our very own Freshers’ hampers to give away.
To be in with a chance of getting your hands on one of our prizes, simply sign up for free at GradQuiz.com, Like Us on Facebook and to keep up-to-date follow us on Twitter.

Free mock recruitment event, designed to help you increase your chances of success: IT students
Thursday, 14th March 2013
If you are currently studying or have just finished an IT-related degree, you are eligible to apply for The Graduate event!
The Graduate’, is an event run by the West Yorkshire Branch of the BCS The Chartered Institute for IT, with support from many local companies.

Many graduates complete their university courses and begin to apply for roles, only to find they are unsuccessful in their applications because of their lack of ‘soft skills’.
‘Soft skills’ are the non-technical skills that will enable you to go far within any industry. It includes such skills as your ability to work well in a group with others, to present yourself in an effective manner, or simply just to network and get along with your colleagues better.
It is these soft skills that ‘The Graduate’ hopes to address, by making you more aware of what may be required of you in a typical assessment centre.
Preparation in this area could mean the difference between a successful application, or a fall at the first hurdle, so by gaining these skills and knowledge through practice, you could just secure yourself that role at the workplace of your choice!
The Graduate is a free mock recruitment event, designed to help you increase your chances of success when applying for future jobs…
You can expect to…
